Im coming from a gcc background, so please bear with me.... Ive downloaded the source, and it seems to be in Microsoft Dev Studio format (projects, not workspaces). When I try to compile the source in the myodbc subfolder, I get many undefined symbols. I searched the archive and found notes posted on making lib.lib dependent on dbug. I did this, and then got about a millon error all saying that _strstr is already defined in LIBCMTD.lib (error LNK 2005). Does anyone have a WORKSPACE (with all the correct settings, etc) that can be downloaded that can compile on NT with Visual C++ 5.0 (Pro.)? Is there something Im doing wrong? I had to add the strings, zlip, mysys etc projects into the myodbc workspace, then add them as dependencies. Then it worked ok and built myodbc.dll with no errors.
